The data we keep is limited to the following information:

For “Friends” who have made a donation to SSYI we also keep:
the actual donations made
whether you are a UK taxpayer
All this information is stored on a password-protected computer.
This information will not be passed on to any third party (other than HMRC to claim Gift Aid where applicable). It will be used only to notify you of events/activities/ initiatives relating to the Shelford and Stapleford Youth Initiative (SSYI) and will be kept unless you request its removal.
Additionally, “Friends” will be asked to give permission for their data to be used to contact them to request donations towards SSYI activities and/or financial support for individual young people to enable them to participate in the activities. Requests will not be made if permission is not given.
You now have a right to see a copy of the data we hold on you, if you request it.
If, at any time, you wish to have your details modified or removed from the database or mailing list, this can be done by emailing the secretary:-
